Sales of B&Q Gift Cards are made, managed and fulfilled by Voucher Express, as set out in more detail below.







Are there any fees associated with the delivery of an eGift Card?

No, delivery is free of charge so you just pay the face value of the eGift Card.


Can I change the value of an eGift Card after I have paid for it?



How do I cancel an order for an eGift Card?

if your eGift Card has not yet been delivered because you have selected a future delivery date, you can cancel by contacting customer services on 0371 2002144. If the eGift Card has already been delivered, your purchase cannot be cancelled.


What payment methods do you accept?

We accept VISA, Mastercard, American Express & Maestro cards, as well as PayPal.


What will appear on my bankstatement?

B&Q eGift Card orders are process by Voucher Express. This purchase will appear on your bank statement as 'Voucher Express'.


Can I buy an eGift and have it sent to myself?

Yes, you can. Many customers choose to have the eGift Card sent to themselves so they can print it off and present it as a gift. All you need to do is input your address in the delivery email fields.


Can I buy eGift Cards to re-sell?

No, re-sale of eGift Cards sold via this website is strictly prohibited. If you have a business enquiry regarding the purchase of eGift Cards, please contact the corporate team so that they can take more details and obtain the necessary permissions. Please note also that the use of any B&Q imagery (including the logo) is prohibited unless you first obtain written permission from the corporate team. 




What does my recipient receive?

On your specified delivery date, your recipient will receive an email containing your gift message and a link to download thie eGift Card. They will need to correctly confirm their email address to download it. Once, they have confimed their email address, they will be presented with the eGift code online and they will also be sent another email with PDF of the gift attached which they can print off.


Where and how can an eGift Card be redeemed?

A Gift Card or eGift card can be used in full or part payment for; a. any products purchased from B&Q stores in the UK (excluding concessions and cafes) b. products purchased at www.diy.com excluding products ‘sold and shipped by verified sellers’ with the exception of the following type of card; any Gift Card or eGift card denominated in Euros (€) Any Decorating Card or Gift Card beginning with the following numbers 5045 0756 65** **** ***

The eGift Card contains a barcode and it can be redeemed in-store at B&Q by either presenting your mobile or print out at the checkout.


How long is an eGift Card valid for?

e-Gift Cards that have been purchased from this site will expire and any remaining value will be removed if the e-Gift Card is not used to make a purchase, top-up or balance enquiry during any period of five consecutive years.


Can I re-load my eGift Card after I have spent the full value?

No, you cannot.




How do I know that my recipient has actually received their eGift Card?

You will receive an email to confirm when your recipient has collected their eGift Card.


What happens if my printed eGift Card is stolen or copied?

Once you have downloaded your eGift Card, it is your responsibility to safeguard it against theft and it should be treated like cash. If some one else redeems it in full, your copy will no longer have any value. If you suspect that someone may have copied or stolen your eGift Card, please contact the Customer Services team immediately as any value that has not been redeemed can be blocked and a new eGift Card can be issued to you.



Delivery of B&Q eGift Cards

  1. There are no restrictions on when your eGift Card can be delivered. You can choose to have it delivered instantly or at a later date and time of your choosing. You can specify an exact time down to the minute!
  2. Delivery of your eGift Card by email is free of charge.
  3. You (or your recipient) will receive an email containing a link to download your B&Q eGift Card. You can choose to download it now or at a later date. Your eGift Card is loaded with value and ready to spend online at diy.com as soon as you download it. It will be valid for 5 years from activation.
  4. After placing your order you will receive a confirmation email that includes your order number.
  5. If you have a query, please contact our distributors; Voucher Express on 0371 200 2144 or by emailing BandQ@voucherexpress.net. Their opening hours are Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm. Please have your order number to hand.
  6. You will receive another email to confirm when the eGift Card has been sent by email to your specified recipient.



Voucher Express T&Cs for B&Q eGift Cards

Giftcards supplied by this website are subject to the B&Q Gift card terms and conditions, which are available when purchasing the Gift Card or from diy.com.

  1. For eGift Card online order enquiries, please call: 0371 200 2144.
  2. Your eGift Card will be valid for 5 years from the last transaction (transaction include balance enquiries). Any remaining balance will be cancelled on the expiry of the validity period
  3. To redeem in a B&Q store, you can either: print the eGift Card and present to the cashier, or display the eGift Card on a mobile phone or tablet device for the cashier to scan the barcode. To process at a self-checkout, select ‘Finish & Pay’ once you have scanned your items, select ‘Gift Card’, and then scan the barcode in your eGift Card.
  4. Sales of B&Q eGift Cards are made, managed and fulfilled by Voucher Express - a trading name of Hemingways Marketing Services Ltd, Metcalfe House, 23H Kirkgate, Ripon. HG4 1PB, established 1947 and registered in England 453174. VAT Reg No: GB 169725424. Voucher Express is the seller of the eGift Cards.
  5. B&Q eGift Cards supplied by this website are in £ sterling and can be used as full or part payment for any products purchased from B&Q stores in the UK (except concessions and cafés in B&Q stores) and online at www.diy.com. An eGift Card cannot be used for purchases from B&Q call centres or in B&Q stores outside the UK including Jersey & Guernsey.
  6. Risk will pass to the customer upon delivery and title will pass upon receipt of payments in full. Neither Voucher Express nor B&Q can be held responsible for lost, stolen or damaged eGift Cards following delivery to the recipient. eGift Cards will NOT be replaced or refunded if lost, stolen or damaged. Neither Voucher Express nor B&Q Limited is responsible for funds on the Card used without your knowledge.
  7. B&Q eGift Cards cannot be exchanged for cash and cash refunds will not be available for products purchased with this Card. Voucher Express is not directly linked to B&Q and can take no responsibility for products and services offered by B&Q Limited. 
  8. Cleared payment is required prior to the despatch of orders. Payment is taken automatically at the time of purchase by Voucher Express. Your credit/debit card statement will read 'Voucher Express'. We reserve the right to decline any order without providing explanation. B&Q Limited will not be given access to your credit/debit card details.
  9. Your use of this website is governed by these Terms and Conditions and construed and enforced in accordance with the law of England, Wales and Ireland. Disputes arising from your use of this website and the services we provide are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
  10. Force Majeure: Voucher Express cannot be held responsible for failure to meet its service obligations when any failure is brought about due to some cause totally beyond its reasonable control. Examples of this might include: acts of God, trade disputes; governmental intervention, fire, flood, and disruption to computer and IT infrastructure.
  11. Breach of these conditions will entitle Voucher Express to seek the appropriate legal remedy available for injunction, damages or otherwise.
